RESIDENTIAL CART INFORMATION
FIRST SERVICE FROM CAL-WASTE, MONDAY, JUNE 8TH.

On May 29th, Cal-Waste will deliver new residential trash, recycling, and green waste carts.

 

Old carts will be serviced and removed on Monday, June 1st.

 

Beginning Monday, June 8th, Cal-Waste will service residential trash and recycle carts. Green waste service will occur the following week (June 15th).

may not appear until after June 1, 2026.*

Trash Cart

Once a Week

Recycling Cart

Every Other Week

Green Waste Cart

Opposite of Recycling

Cart size options and additional carts are available upon request. Please call our Customer Service office at (209) 369-6887.

Recycling and Yard and Garden Waste scheduled collection service are provided every other week on an alternating fixed schedule.

Where do I place my carts?

  • Carts must have 3 feet clearance on all sides.
  • Carts must be 6 feet from vehicles and all other obstacles.
  • Place waste carts roadside or just forward of sidewalk.

What time do I have to put out my carts?

  • All carts must be curbside by 5:00 am on your service day to avoid a return trip charge.

What else do I have to be aware of?

  • All items must fall freely from your carts.
  • Items that do not come out of your carts will be serviced on your next scheduled service day.

Is there anything I can't put in my carts?

All of the following are non acceptable items in your carts:

  • Dirt
  • Concrete or rock
  • Dead animals
  • Liquids such as oils, water, gas, or chemicals
  • Hot ashes or coals
  • Hazardous waste
